THE EXPERIENCE

Step into a world of sartorial precision.

STEP 1:
CONSULTATION

During your first visit, our aim is to assess your needs and preferences as we begin to materialize the perfect garment for you. It all starts with an idea - a vision for a garment that can’t be found anywhere else.

We will sort through fabrics from world-renowned mills, discuss style options and accents, and guide you to make stylistic choices that suit you best.

Lastly, our experts will take a precise number of measurements, building the perfect silhouette for garments that offer impeccable fit and absolute comfort.

STEP 2:
BASTED TRY-ON

4-5 weeks after the consultation visit, we will welcome you back to the atelier for your basted try-on. This portion of the process is indicative of how we approach bespoke—the correct and patient way, without cutting corners or looking for shortcuts.

Envision the basted try-on garment as a ‘first draft’. One where allowances are built into each and every seam and every panel is examined for revisions to get us one step closer to your perfect fit.

STEP 3:
SLIP-ON FITTING

By week 8 or 9, the garment is 90% complete and ready for the client’s second fitting.

Following the basted try-on fitting, the garment has transitioned from a raw form to a slip-on state. In this phase, we inspect the effect of the adjustments made in the previous step. We then confirm final measurements such as sleeve length and trouser outseam so that we can proceed with the cutting through of sleeve buttonholes and the desired hem style of the trouser.

Manolo will then take a final scan of the garment and determine whether any final tweaks are necessary.

STEP 4:
FINAL FITTING

1-2 weeks after the slip-on fitting is the last step, the final fitting. What started as a dream is now a completed garment—the patient combination of time and precision has paid off.

The first commission is always the longest: now that the client’s personal pattern is a reality, future commissions can be completed in significantly less time, barring any major physical changes.

As we take time with the client to admire their finished wares, ideas for their next sartorial endeavor may begin to take shape.

ENJOY

Out in the world with your finished garments, you might find that you’re getting a little more notice—whether it’s in a boardroom, a crowded restaurant, or a business-class cabin—and feeling a bit more confident. We’re sure that we’ll be seeing you again soon, as few joys compare to moving through the world in clothing made expressly for yourself and according to your own dreams and desires.

The experience is Exclusively Yours.
